1. COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara

I have been using this stuff for as long as I've worn makeup, which if we're being honest, was way too early. Sixth-grade me was walking around my middle school with eyelashes touching my eye lids - questionable for sure. It seriously has never failed me; I rarely try other kinds. It's thicker but doesn't clump which is an absolute necessity for me. When I have this on, it looks like I'm wearing voluminous fake lashes, but it feels WAY more comfortable. You can get this at almost any drugstore or on Amazon if you're not into in-person shopping right now.

2. L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation Makeup

My mom has been using this liquid foundation for years now, so I guess I just haven't really branched out? It does the job for me, and you only need a little bit to cover your entire face. I hate when my skin looks cakey, and I honestly haven't had that problem with this product. It also lasts FOREVER - a cheap and quality investment. Definitely give it a try.

3. Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm

ree

Say what you want, but this shit is fire. I think this was a trend back in 2011, but I seriously still love it. You can snag a few of these balms at Walmart and most other drugstore makeup sections. I prefer the tinted balms like the one in the photo above because it gives your lips the slightest bit of color without overpowering your entire face. Don't get me wrong, I love a statement lip, but this is the best for an everyday look.

4. Maybelline Eye Studio Master Kajal Eyeliner

ree

When I don't feel like doing my usual black winged liner, this is my go-to. Master Kajal Eyeliner has been in my bag for about 3 years now, which is probably super unhygienic, yet here we are using it every day. I don't wear it as bold as the woman in the photo above, but I slightly brush the liner on my top eyelid line, creating a messier smokey eye look. I love the brown, but the black is great for an intense moment. You can find this guy almost anywhere too.

5. essie expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish

ree

Raise your hand if Essie is your favorite nail polish brand! Same. I don't even think I know why, but it's been a staple forever. When I found this quick-dry polish, I knew I needed to get my hands on it, no pun intended. It actually works too! Whenever I'm feeling too broke for a manicure but need something on my nails to disguise from me biting them down to the nub, this is fast and easy. A must-purchase!
