1. VOTE.

Yup - that's it. That's my only recommendation this week. I'm 22 years old now and I'll be honest, I have not paid much attention to politics until this year. With everything that has happened thus far in this chaotic whirlwind otherwise known as 2020, I think now more than ever is the time for young people to exercise their right to vote. I never realized how much of a privilege it truly is.
Here is the quote I've been seeing all over social media that truly was the only thing running through my head as I was filling in my paper ballot...
"Vote as if your skin is not white, your parents need medical care, your friend is a missing indigenous woman, your spouse is an immigrant, your land is on fire, your child is transgender, your house is flooded, your sister is a victim of gun violence, your brother is gay, your water is unsafe, your daughter is a sexual assault survivor."
